We are hiring….
Experienced pharmacist with valid license and familiarity handling import-export and clearance of pharmaceuticals and chemicals in UAE for not less than 5 years. Must be a UAE resident. The position will be based in our warehouse in KIZAD free zone area. Might have to work as US shifts.
The ideal candidate will be:
➢Managing the products classification/registration, preparing the files
ensuring that it fulfills UAE authorities’ requirements.
➢ Facilitating the importation of the unregistered products which are not
applicable for registration as per the competent authority regulations and
imported through the Ministry of Health (MOHAP) import permits.
➢ Arranging and managing formalities required to get the approvals from other authorities
like, Dubai Municipality (DM), Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA), National Media Council (NMC), Security Industry, Regulatory Agency (SIRA) & Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation(FANR) to clear the shipments for the medical and laboratory devices, consumables, lab kits and lab reagents, raw materials and Chemicals.
➢ Communicate and coordinate with the regulatory authority during submission, review& ensure all questionnaires within due time to ensure timely approval of product.
➢ Constantly engaging with Procurement, Clearance & warehouse team to
expedite and clear and receive items within stipulated timelines.
➢ Coordinate with freight forwarders to nominate best price freight forwarder for incoming shipments.
➢ Continuously monitor and identify the gaps and lead the process improvements to compression of customer order to delivery cycle.
➢ Support and guide the team in the daily operation of import/export permits and customs clearance.
➢ Monitor the development and assesses the impact of new and proposed changes in laws.
➢ Maintain archiving of updated files and documentations for all licensed products to facilitate tracking the regulatory status of any product. Maintain records for import permits, invoices, and product registration certificates.
➢ Ensure the readiness for MOHAP/MOI audit at any time.
➢ Assure staff practices are aligned with the MOHAP regulations.
➢ Obtain approval from Ministry of Health (MOHAP) for the disposal of expired products.
➢ Coordinate with hazardous materials disposal companies to dispose the
expired goods
➢Should be well-versed in handling documents, registrations and other formalities for imports into Free-zone and exports into mainland
