OPERATIONS MANAGER (AUSTRALIAN NATIONALITY ONLY) - Dubai

URGENTLY REQUIRED: A leading construction company looking for an Operations Manager as per the following descriptions. The nationality should be AUSTRALIAN only.

• Civil Engineering with Minimum 15 years’ experience, with exposure in managing multiple projects, fast track Civil Engineering projects related for reputed clients in UAE/GCC. Excellent knowledge of Contract Conditions, Health and Safety Regulations, Local Authorities Requirements for the Projects. Conversant with International Standards and specifications for construction, ISO Standards.
• Experienced in UAE. Age limit maximum 50 years.
• Package approximately 40 to 50 k + car + family status
• Should have experience only in Construction Companies, especially Civil Infrastructure. Building experience as well as working with Consultant will not be considered.
• Will be directly reporting to the Directors as well the General Manager.

• Main Responsibilities:

1-Develop and implement project execution strategy, ensure the implementation of quality control standards and cost control on project for on time completion.
2-Execute daily operations of monitoring the work executed by the engineering team at site and prepare interims and completion project reports.
3-Supervise monitor and report Project progress throughout the project cycle to ensure on time completion. lead Project Progress Meetings and coordinate with other departments.
4-Manage Cash Flow Requirements for the Projects. Controlled expenditures within limitations of project budget.
5-Monitor, verify and enforce specification compliance of materials at various stages of project. Manage and control Project Budget.
6-Manage material and manpower requirements. Perform preparation of invoices, variance and claims and client follow up.
7-Coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors.
8-Inspect and observe work in progress to ensure that procedures followed and materials used conformed to project specifications and quality standards.
9-Establish and maintain effective Health and Safety system in place for the Projects strictly adhering to standards and specifications. Assure the company procedures and company policies are being complied with Company Business Conduct and Ethics Policies at all times.
10-Training and development of subordinate employees to improve project performance and enhance individual career development.
11-Prepare submittals for materials, Shop Drawings, Time Schedule and Manpower organization.
12-Technical problems.
13-Ensured a positive work environment and awareness by all staff at the site of project goals and objectives.
14-Conducted site meetings Monitored progress throughout the project cycle
