Network Administrator - Dubai
Oversees day to day operations of Network Systems to meet the Business Needs of the University. Configures network devices including Firewalls, Routers, Switches and Wireless Controllers, NAC Gateways and VPNs. Monitors, troubleshoots and resolves Network problems in order to maintain high availability. Implements and configures monitoring solutions and sets up alerts for stakeholders. Ensures network connectivity for all users in the University and ensures data security for connections to the internet. Schedules and implements routine maintenance tasks. Keeps track of Maintenance agreements and Licenses related to networking equipment. Assists in planning, designing and implementing LAN, Wireless and WAN systems. Assists in developing and implementing Standards for Network Infrastructure. Directs Supervises the work of Network Operations Center Staff and Support specialists. Researches and evaluates new technologies related to computer Networking. Researches and recommend network server hardware and software. Assists in planning, coordinating, consulting with vendors and clients for network hardware/software purchases. Performs any other duties assigned by the Manager. About The Person: Bachelors degree in Computer Applications / Computer Engineering from accredited university or college. Certifications in Network and Network Security. A minimum of 5 Years experience in core networking & security. Security Audit, Penetration Testing & Project Management experience. Fluency in English written and spoken. Fluency in Arabic will be desirable Good oral, written, and personal communication skills with users and project teams.
