Microsoft Engineer Required in Dubai
The purpose of this position is to implement, maintain, and support an infrastructure for du Enterprise customers. The job holder will be part of a team responsible for implementing and maintaining a Cloud platform and ensures services are provided according to the agreed contract, SLA, and quality. This position includes working with Enterprise customers in optimizing, and monitoring requirements to gain operational efficiencies in order to drive the organization to a highly customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
Full responsibility of the du Cloud Services and Infrastructure.
Administer systems such as Windows, Active Directory, Monitoring, , Exchange, DNS, Lync, and SharePoint
Diagnose system issues, predict future trends, make recommendations and implement client solutions.
Support the management team to capture forecasting demand and assess the capacity requirements and operating budget allocation request to deliver the services.
Manage stakeholder expectation and resolve customer escalations.
Ability to interface with Senior Management and customers in a clear and concise manner.
Manage the team by implementing good management practices and ensuring continuing development of junior members and ensure engagement.
Conduct data and security auditing as per business needs, requirements, and approval.
Ensure updated and efficient information records and analysis.
Implement new procedures, processes and technology. Adapt these changes into the Cloud environment.
Experience:
Minimum 9 years of experience in telecom environment or IT Infrastructure (strong cloud knowledge)
MCSE of higher qualification
Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Experience with antivirus/malware and patch management technologies
Experience with administering systems, such as Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint
Experience in telecom technologies (Voice & Data, Advanced Connectivity, Security Services, Data Centre & Cloud, Mobility & Applications)
Very good experience in VMWare, VCentre, Network and/or Storage
Solid experience maintaining Cloud environment.
Solid experience in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems.
Solid experience maintaining and applying security policies and procedures.
Solid experience in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Managed Cloud Service environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems
International Certifications (MCSE /CCNP certification preferred)
