MEDICAL CODING AUDITOR

CDI (CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION IMPROVEMENT) officer.

Degree in any related field preferably life science background.
Mandatory to possess CCS (AHIMA) or CPC (AAPC) associated with CDI background
3. Minimum of 5 years of Outpatient/ER/IP coding & auditing experience with clinical documentation improvement experience

4. In addition to medical coding/auditing, knowledge of billing process will be a plus

5. Conduct audits on IP, OP, ER claims as per applicable ICD-10, CPT-4 guidelines under DOH regulations.

6. Should review the clinician documentation, radiology, diagnostic information & all relevant documents to educate the physicians on the uncertain, contradictory or any missing information in the documentation.

7. Should assists modifications to clinical documentation by interacting with physicians and other clinical staff

8. Monitor physicians performance related to Documentation and response rate

9. Educate physicians about identification of proper ICD-10/CPT-4 codes in order to facilitate correct application of code sets.

10. Preparation action plans to seal the documentation gaps and implementation process.

11. Candidates with Abu Dhabi hospital coding experience preferred
