Marketing Manager - Dubai

The Manager develops, coordinates, implements and evaluates overall marketing objectives for the college to promote the college. This position ensures that all independent departmental objectives align with the overall college marketing plan and goals to develop and implement an integrated marketing plan for all programs and services. Work with COO and President to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for the college including developing themes, identifying target audiences and media selection. Supervise and lead assigned staff by setting goals, assigning tasks, managing work schedules and workloads, evaluating performance and making employment recommendations for hiring and termination. Work collaboratively with clients to ensure their projects align with the overall marketing goals of the college. Oversee the planning, development and implementation of all marketing activities and strategic communication plans for clients. Strategize on brand marketing and initiatives to promote the college. Direct the creative process for marketing seize opportunities to extend the brand integration process beyond traditional materials into everyday college life and experience for the students. Assist in defining needs and coordinates the use of market research tools facilitate interpretation of research data. Develop and manage the assessment process for measuring audience impacts and media habits. Manage the media placement strategy for the college. Work with staff to coordinate and maximize media placements for the College among individual campaigns, as well as enrollment and brand campaigns. Assesses technology needs for marketing. Assist in the assessment of ongoing technology and media needs for print and online. Create an environment in marketing where high quality creative work is valued and celebrated. Perform a lead role in developing and implementing the marketing and student recruitment strategy to support the college strategic objectives with emphasis on developing the use of web, e- marketing and new media aligned with the colleges marketing and web strategies. This will involve working with the Dean, Chairs, Heads of Department, Faculty, IT Manager, and other relevant colleagues. Systematically gather market and competitor intelligence and conduct market research, disseminating findings across the President and Academic Council. Work with the Quality Assurance Office to offer market intelligence relating to the revision and development of new portfolios of courses and programs. Develop a network of relevant marketing contacts within and outside UAE and use this network to inform the development of college activity. Manage the development and market analysis/testing of departmental information and promotional material for publication via print, web, new media by liaising with departmental staff and relevant colleagues in the Marketing Department. Develop all promotional material print & online for using internal resources and external agencies so that potential students, agents etc receive accurate and reliable information on courses and programs offered . Develop and implement communications campaigns with appropriate media in order to attract enquiries from prospective students and agents. advertising, direct mailings, newsletters etc Develop a reliable and accurate marketing information system statistics, target market info, competitor research etc to facilitate strategic decision making for marketing & management purposes. Develop and maintain a database of student, academic and agent contacts to facilitate customer relationship management & direct mailing to recruit prospective students. Represent CFD at relevant events as exhibitions and career fairs. Managing the marketing & promotions budget in order to meet the student targets of in the most cost effective manner. Prepare a semester and annual marketing report to facilitate strategic decision making by management. Represent us in marketing matters at external bodies to promote us as a destination for Fashion and Design study. Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree or higher. Marketing related professional qualification highly preferred. At least 5 years of experience in leading, supervising and managing the Marketing & Communication activities of a school or university. Proven track record of innovation/strategic competency. Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills at school/university level. Commitment to continuous improvement of Marketing procedures and processes. Ability to exercise a collaborative style of management.
