Position Overview
You will formulate, and implement marketing policies, strategies, campaigns and efforts to promote Cruise Master and its sister brand as top of mind for cruise vacations online and offline in the Middle East markets.
Essential Job Functions
Objective
Identify and develop a marketing strategy using PR communication, e-mail marketing, flyers/ brochures and social media activities and keep all digital channels up to date in promoting cruise vacations to/with the Travel Trade and consumer in the Middle East
Create, schedule while ensuring correctness and negotiate PR, social media snippets and communication submissions to the local English newspapers, travel and lifestyle magazines and e mailers to the trade and direct consumer database.
Create travel blog news posts on a periodical basis using a suitable blog platform
Build a fan followers base and Cruise Master branding on Face book, Linked in, Twitter and any other suitable social and forum/ thread platforms that are relevant to leisure
Identify and close suitable partnerships with banks, airlines and relevant consumer brands to promote cruise master and or specific cruise brands.
Identify and validate suitable local events GCC wide to promote Cruise Master Services, focus being on ATM, consumer events and ship visit events.
Identify and execute new Marketing initiatives such as Mobile marketing or joint marketing
Formulate tracking and monitoring mechanism for Incentives and Promo code campaigns
Support
Solicit via the internet and or established databases new agents and sales leads
Coordinate with the IT and design team to ensure that the official website is appealing and adequately formatted for best user experience
Regularly conduct surveys for trade and customer feedback
Related Job Functions
Maintain and update database of customers and agency front line contacts
Establish long term professional relationship with all the cruise principals marketing departments and external sales agents
Offer Sales support to operations/ Sales staff whenever required.
Requirements
Graduate in marketing
Training in digital copywriting
Good Research and analytical skills,
Verbal and communication skills in English, Arabic is an advantage
Driving license is preferred, but not mandatory
GCC experience is compulsory (UAE experience preferred)
Good understanding of the travel and tourism industry (Cruise industry knowledge preferred) or willing to learn
