Sushi Samba Dubai, a renowned culinary destination, is seeking a passionate and talented Junior Sous Chef - Sushi to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for creating exquisite sushi dishes and are ready to elevate the dining experience, we invite you to be a part of our culinary journey.
Responsibilities:
Execute the preparation and presentation of high-quality sushi dishes in line with Sushi Samba's standards and able to lead a team of 20 Sushi Chef.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative and visually appealing sushi creations.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of sushi items.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques and best practices.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in inventory management, ordering, and quality control of ingredients.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Strong knowledge of sushi techniques, ingredients, and presentation
Creative flair with a passion for exploring new flavors and culinary trends
Ability to work in a high-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A commitment to quality and attention to detail
Locally available candidate will be highly preferred
