We are hiring a brilliant Junior Accountant for our Dubai’s Office.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Being the main referral of the office and Italian Headquarters for accounting/finance matters
Processing Purchase/Sales Ledger invoices jointly with PA
Preparation of journal entries initially supporting and coordinating Accounting Consultants
Preparing the VAT returns jointly with our Tax Consultants
Coordinate relationships and activities with Accounting/Tax Consultants, Auditors
Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
Assist with payroll administration
Account/bank reconciliations
Monitor and resolve bank issues
Handling Petty Cash
Review and expense processing in our internal Case Management Platform
Preparation of monthly closings and monthly financial statements initially supporting and coordinating Accounting Consultants
Assist with year’s end closings and Audit process
Assist in preparing analysis of accounts as requested
Processing payments following the internal procedure
Assisting with office admin
Day to day control of cash flows
Control of Aged Debtors/Creditors and payments
Support to billing process
Support to Intercompany billing process
Perform other duties as assigned
Profile
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- At least four/five years accounting experience
- Good team player, hard working, mature and professional individual
- Ability to work under pressure a must
- A “can do attitude” essential
- Italian proficiency
