Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

This role shall assist Site Team in reporting and month-end tasks. .

Key Responsibilities

Assist the site team in month end closing. This includes review of subcontractor and other accruals.
Liaise between site and Finance / Supply Chain team to make updates to the POs in line with subcontractor service start/end dates.
Keep a track of all subcontractor services and make amendments to the POs through Supply Chain whenever there is change e.g. variation, service cancelled etc.
Review draft P&L sent by Finance in detail and suggest changes if any with justifications and details.
Prepare actual to RF/Budget bridge for monthly CRMs.
Keep a track of fixed assets and make sure that the fixed assets policy is being followed at all times.
Periodically conduct stock counts and match the quantities with the system.
Monitor GRN and SIV process to ensure timely posting.
Assist in other tasks and ad-hoc reports as asked by the line manager.
Monitor revenue accruals to ensure timely invoicing.
Credit Notes.
Track of monthly invoicing and reconciliation to monthly results.
Qualification

Graduate level qualification in Finance or Accounting

Experience

2 years’ experience preferred in a relevant role.
