Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

Gmyrin Consulting is looking for a Junior Accountant

Responsibilities

Updating critical excel based calculation files to support quarterly investment analysis
Entering accounts receivable / payable
Support to all aspects of the finance and accounting team
Be involved in month end close process, including valuation and pricing of the portfolio
Recalculate and verify management and incentive fees
Review all expense allocations across the Funds and managed accounts
Participate in special projects pertaining to risk, compliance, technology and reporting
Assist with annual financial statement preparation

Skills

Prior experience of 1-3 years if working in UAE. Preferably within Group of companies Or consulting environment.
Ability to use Accounting software independently
Good with MS Office Applications
Basic knowledge of Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet
Ability to maintain filings and records for important accounting, financial and compliance documentation
Knowledge of maintaining Fixed Asset register
Exposure of dealing with banks.
Assist in administrative and basic IT coordination tasks of the company
