About Role:
We are looking to hire an IT Security Engineer who will provide IT technical support by setting up Azure AD, Cloud servers, Intranets, or network systems within a company and configuring routing and servers; dealing with network security; troubleshooting network, procedures, and company security policies.
Duties:
Administer the creation, operation, modification, and deletion of employees' usernames and passwords in the specified system and servers. (Firewalls, Azure / Active directory, etc.)
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Service Desk Team
Record and track team SLAs and workflows
Review all application support-related processes and documentation for continuous improvement
Analyze user requirements and create user groups & group policy
Provide network access to users as required.
Act as a Level 2 Support for IT-related issues registered in IT ServiceDesk
Maintain the IT asset documentation and ensure that all assets/licenses/ application contracts are recorded, updated,/removed.
Liaise with the vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Highly involved in on/off-boarding of employees, setting up the machines, required software, and all the related setups.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft cloud products.
Good understanding of FortiGate firewalls.
Good understanding of VPN tunnels/ site to site/ client to site
Good understanding of Zero trust network.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: over five years experience in IT operations
Associates or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred
Experience with FortiGate or advanced firewall configuration ( E.g., Fortinet, Sophos) is mandatory. Fortinet certification is a plus
Configuration experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud and Microsoft Azure AD is mandatory
Server migration experience cloud to cloud / On-premise to cloud
Monitoring of the assigned requests and implementing the corrective actions.
Ability to apply subject matter knowledge and previous experience to solve various standard system and application functional issues.
Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve customer support tickets
Hands-on experience in using any technical support & ticketing portals configuration
Microsoft 365 / Office 365 emails & Applications managing and configuration.
Configuring endpoint protection solution.
Security & Data leak and Prevention solution implementation.
Well versed with cloud and on-premise backup solutions ( Acronis, Veeam)
MS SQL Server/ Linux Server Management
Network general knowledge: TCP/IP, load balancers, certificates, firewall.
Managed Wireless solution configuration.
