IT Engineer - Dubai
Support and Maintain a Microsoft Network Environment ranging from Data center to Desktop clients & mobile users. Manage and maintain Data Archives & Backup systems including site disaster recovery solutions. Provision of on-site service support for installation and configuration of Desktops, Laptops, Smart Devices, Telephonic devices and Network peripherals printers, scanners etc. Manage and maintain organizational hardware & software life-cycle as per contracts and new technology releases. Monitor, Attend & update service requests and incidents within the IT Service Management ITSM tool ensuring consistent user feedbacks & SLAs are maintained. Interface with hardware vendors to facilitate repairs, replacements & warranty support. Continually evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness when resolving issues. Enhance User productivity, Knowledge & Awareness through innovative technological solutions. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS: Deep understanding of end user support governed by ITIL processes. Excellent knowledge of Hardware, Software & Networking Concepts. Train and guide the business users on upgrades in the current IT structure, new software developed by internal software development team, network share structure, helpdesk etc. Provide IT orientation sessions to new employees on existing systems and IT policies. Stringent operative methods in maintaining and monitoring adherence to established IT policies. Maintain current & accurate inventory of Hardware, Software and related Resources.
