IT End User Support Required in Dubai -

Desktop/Server/Network/Security Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to our clients. • install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.

• Should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. • Should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques.

• Ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Helpdesk monitoring Installing Windows PCs, monitors, etc.

• Installing printers, scanners • Installing software: MS Office, monitoring (RMM), client (backup, MAV)

• Basic Applications Install & Support of Microsoft – MS Office, O365, Skype, Blue Jeans

• PC/Server/Network/Firewall/AP Physical connection troubleshooting

• VPN client installations, Internet Router configurations, VLAN Configuration and IP address Configurations.

• Install,Manage and troubleshooting Routers/Switches/Firewall/APs

• Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

• Software licensing/activation (Office, Quickbooks)

• Cloud backups: Monitor, execute, modify, on-board, restore files and images • Server Installations and Support

• Engage and manage third-party support

• Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.

• Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions

• Conduct remote troubleshooting.

• Record technical issues and solutions in logs

• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

• Help create technical documentation and manuals • Asset Management

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Desktop, Server, Network-Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role

• Hands-on experience with Desktops and Servers Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

• Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners

• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs

• Network hardware – Switches/routers/Firewall/APs configuration and troubleshooting

• Network design and implementation • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.

• Ability to take initiative and lead projects.

• Understanding of ITIL process and ticketing system. Eg. SNOW,Ivanti

• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

• Customer-oriented attitude

• Focus on Service Level Agreements and ensuring the team is meeting commitments.

Qualification: Graduate or Degree in IT / Commuter Science/ Electronic & Communication or similar Certifications – like MSCE, CCNA, Linux are preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum 2- 4 years In IT Industry Location: UAE, Dubai
