IT Consultant Required in Dubai - Dubai
Key Responsibilities:
Network Management: Administer LAN/WAN/Internet networks, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with internal support teams or external vendors/ISPs to ensure smooth operations.
Project Support: Provide IT input for factory/office projects, ensuring that IT infrastructure meets business requirements.
End-User Support: Assist end-users by troubleshooting IT systems and software, and managing caretaker tickets.
Vendor Coordination: Work with IT vendors on the installation and troubleshooting of systems, devices, and components to support daily business operations.
Incident Management: Oversee and resolve incidents, events, and service requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
Contract Compliance: Ensure maintenance contracts and licenses are up-to-date and compliant through regular reviews.
System Maintenance: Maintain existing application systems, workflows, and databases by following business requirements and proposing efficient solutions.
Training & Development: Conduct training on Digital IT tools to ensure they are used effectively and become a source of competitive advantage.
Project Implementation: Implement local/regional enhancement projects in line with global and regional strategies by developing or integrating new solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2-3 years of IT experience, particularly in infrastructure, networking, and application support.
Experience interacting with end-users on-site; this is not a help desk role.
Familiarity with Cisco switches, routers, and other networking equipment.
Demonstrated experience implementing new technologies.
Proficiency in English is required.
Advanced skills in MS-Office, Power BI, and experience in creating apps are preferred.
Certification in CISCO / Microsoft Power Apps or equivalent is a plus.
Ability to work independently and adapt to various on-site environments.
