Information Security Specialist - Sharjah
Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in computer science and/or computer/software engineering. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a related IT field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT security. In-depth working knowledge of: 1. Information Security including network, systems, application, and end-point security. 2. IT forensic investigations. 3. IT technical architecture. Understanding of the UAE Cyber security laws and their applicability in higher education. Demonstrated ability to respect privacy and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Highly developed people and customer service skills. Proven hands-on experience with multiple flavors of desktop and server OSs Windows, Linux/Unix, Mac. Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in computer science, computer/software engineering. Three or more years of professional IT experience in higher education.
