Job Summary
Rock Petroleum is seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Manager to lead our Human Resources department. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
As an HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:
HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives. Drive initiatives related to talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and employee engagement.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. Develop onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws. Resolve employee relations issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Performance Management: Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management best practices.
Training and Development: Identify training and development needs within the organization. Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, incentive plans, and employee benefits packages. Ensure competitiveness and fairness in compensation practices.
HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Keep abreast of changes in HR laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale. Conduct employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms to gather employee feedback and insights.
HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and record-keeping. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data and records.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor HR metrics and KPIs to track HR performance and effectiveness. Prepare HR reports and analytics for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
Hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP) is preferred.
Have at least 5-7 years of experience in HR management roles, with a strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Prior experience in the energy or related industry is preferred but not required.
