The HR Manager would manage stakeholders at different levels and locations; lead on projects and deliver advisory HR services internationally.
Location: Dubai, UAE with frequent travel to our HQ in Istanbul, Turkey.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the Director of HR; managing HR operations for 150+ staff split across the UK, Middle East, Turkey, and other remote locations around the globe.
Leading and developing the HR team, to continuously build capabilities and technical competence, providing development and growth opportunities, identifying improvements, and managing performance.
Providing professional, timely, accurate advice and support to managers on managing their people matters; identifying trends and issues, and advising managers on procedures and policy.
Assisting managers in the consultation process with staff and providing professional guidance, solutions, and support on the implementation process.
Participating in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organization.
Developing HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics.
Championing the development and use of people analytics to deliver insights, improve management decision making and focus on resources and efficiencies.
Managing performance and ER matters effectively, ensuring everyone is treated with care, support, and fairness, and managing accurate administration and reporting.
Driving value-added activity including well-being, D&I, engagement, etc., working with wider teams to deliver strategy as appropriate.
Required skills and experience:
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices
Good understanding of Employment Law and the payroll system
Experience managing a team
Fluency in the English language, Turkish and Arabic is a plus.
A high degree of business acumen with the interpersonal skills, courage, and expertise to effectively influence business leaders
Excellent stakeholder management, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to work at pace, and adaptable to change
Proven Change Management experience
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way
