Homeroom Teacher Required in Dubai

QUALIFICATIONS:

A four (4)-year degree from an accredited university with a major in Early Childhood Education or Education for teachers of Kindergarten to Grade 3
A four (4)-year degree from an accredited university with a major in education or in the subject area to be taught and additional training in education
A minimum of two years of teaching in this field
ICDL or advanced computer skills
Fluency in English and Arabic preferred
Preference is to teachers experienced in teaching the American Curriculum
For English teachers: preference is to teachers with IELTS and/or TOFEL/TESEL certification

LINE MANAGER: Teachers report to the Head of Section

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary task is to help students learn the subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature and responsible adults. A teacher’s performance will be judged in terms of the performance standards (PS) set in the UAE New Inspection Framework as follows:
