Home Health Nurse Required in Dubai

Okadoc is looking for a DHA registered Nurse, who will administer skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence, in accordance with physician's guidance and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Care Manager.

The responsibilities of the Nurse are as below:
Performs initial evaluation visit to the patients home and regularly evaluate the patient’s nursing needs.
Initiate the plan of care and necessary revisions basis the initial diagnosis
Provides services in accordance with the plan of care.
Prepares clinical and progress notes for each patient visit and summaries of care conferences
Coordinates medical services.
Counsels the patient and family/significant others in meeting nursing and related needs.
Participates in and presents in-service programs.
Processes medical orders and notifies physician of patient needs and changes in condition.
Completes certification/recertification orders and discharge summaries.
Refers to Physical Therapists, Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Medical Social Worker for patients with specialized requirements
Supervises and teaches other nursing personnel.
Conducts patient care conferences on patient assigned to his/her care.
Is available for on-call duty nights, weekends and holidays, as assigned.

Requirements
BSN preferred or Diploma in Nursing (graduated from accredited school of nursing(
BLS certified
Registered nurse licensed from country of origin and DHA.
At least 1 year nursing experience in clinical area / OPD.
HHC, dialysis, wound care, geriatrics care or palliative care experience is preferred.
Good command of written /oral English language, knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferably with computer skill: MS, Excel, Power points
