Head of IT & Networks Required in Dubai - Dubai
dynamic & hands-on Head of IT & Networks to add to their Data Center & Fiber Connectivity business unit. This position sits at Vice President level and you must be based in (or available to relocate to) Dubai. Your role will include:
Developing an Access strategy to connect enterprise and residential customers using LTE and FTTX across PAN Africa
Developing key tools to manage Budgets, projects, Capex and OPEX.
Play a key and pivotal role in partnerships in the delivery of projects.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices governing data center, fiber co and B2B operations, network security and IT infrastructure.
Manage relationships and technology vendors, service providers and contractors to procure hardware, software and services necessary for data center operations.
Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet the data center’s requirements.
Design and implement lean and agile process for support systems.
Design and implement Dev-Ops model to provide process simplification.
Lead a team of network engineers, system administrators, and cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance mentorship, and support to ensure the team’s success.
Foster culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration with the IT department to drive excellence and efficiency in data center operations
