Guest Services Executive Required in Dubai - Dubai
An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Services Executive to join our team in our Concierge Team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
To ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the guest services and information services.
To ensure that all guest messages/mail/telexes/parcels are handled and distributed within 20 minutes of receipt.
To forward mail as requested by the guests and maintain a record.
To handle unclaimed mail and arrange to have it returned periodically.
To ensure that an up-to-date extensive selection of booklets, guides, maps and brochures is available and maintained at all times.
To ensure that stamps are available at all times and are affixed in the presence of the guest.
To ensure that the desk is sufficiently manned at all times.
To make airline reservations/re-confirmations/re-endorsement and purchase tickets from the hotel's authorised Travel Agent.
To ensure that the newspapers are delivered to guest floors by 06:00 hours daily.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Previous experience in a luxury 5-star hotel
Proficiency in English is required, ideally complemented by proficiency with a second language (Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, German, Mandarin, and/or Greek) with strong communication abilities.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes
