The American University in The Emirates is looking for Graphic Designers to join its creative team. If you are passionate and creative, with a sharp strategic mind, please read on.

You will join a team of creatives that drive AUE’s brand identity building and in house graphic design needs. You will create content that will increase the brand traction along with appealing to our young generation of students. You will support AUE in its mission and goal in being one of the esteemed institutions of education in the Middle East.

Job Type: Full-time - On-site, 5 days per week and 8 hours per day.

Report to: Media and Communication Manager

Salary Package

The total salary is 4,000 AED per month, with 30 days paid annual leave after completing one year, with health insurance coverage, annual air ticket and one month annual leave.

Responsibilities

Deliver content for variety of platforms: digital and print in various forms depending on the universities need.
Develop stand-alone pieces as well as integrated campaigns material.
Assist in redesigning a clear brand identity for AUE.
Conceptualize directions/visuals/content of various media forms based on requirements.
Prepare drafts and presentations, rollups, flyers, brochures, etc.
Develop illustrations, animations, logos, and other designs using software and test graphics across various media channels is a must.
Based on feedback, amend designs and ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing; on-brand.
Provide innovative solutions
Deliver based on pre-set deadlines

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
Portfolio of work
