General Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Responsibilities:

Take charge of all financial accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
Ensure strict adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with precision and efficiency.
Conduct regular financial assessments and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive operational efficiency.
Lead and oversee month-end and year-end close processes with meticulous attention to detail.
Manage payroll processing and associated tasks efficiently and accurately.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification highly preferred.
Proven track record of success in a senior accounting role, with immediate availability to start.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in Tally & Oracle or accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
