ü Providing excellent customer service to ensure guests satisfaction is achieved always.
ü Greet customers and present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
ü Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages.
ü Making menu recommendations, answering questions, and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons.
ü Make suggestions based on their preferences.
ü Take and serve food/drinks orders.
ü Up-sell when appropriate.
ü Arrange table settings.
ü Always keep tables clean and tidy.
ü Check products for quality.
ü Deliver checks and collect payments.
ü Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
ü Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines.
ü Inform customers about the day’s specials.
ü Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization.
ü Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
ü Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
ü Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties).
ü Carry out any other duties assigned by management.
