Financial Controller Required in Dubai

Handling all supplier invoices for all events and projects
Developing all client’s invoices for all events and projects
Developing and monitoring internal controls including process and control in ERP environment
Responsible for ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations are complete and to inform HQ of any risk or opportunities in the balance sheet
Establish strong cash management controls, prepare monthly cash flow forecast, and recommend actions accordingly.
Payroll processing and compliance
Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Risk management and Compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
Responsible for the completion of accounts reporting and all required schedules on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including direct communication with HQ based in Barcelona
All administrative tasks of the privy to the Finance department

Skills and Qualifications:

Skills:

Fluency in English and Arabic
Will have a high degree of integrity and a high sense of personal and professional ethics.
Ability to engender confidence of management and exercise good judgment in handling sensitive information.
Holistic proactiveness and capable to react and resolve issues in and efficient and quick manner
Comprehension of the overall project objectives and supporting to achieve them as a team player
Strong attention to detail, being thorough and responsible
Detailed attention to quality of deliverables.
Desire and ability to demonstrated initiative.
High level of stress tolerance with a capability the varying workload and complexity of deadlines across several projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)

Preferred Experience:

4-5 years of demonstrated excellence in a similar role, preferably in the events industry. Candidates with GCC experience is a plus
