Financial Controller Required in Dubai
Independently lead, direct, and control the organization’s financial resources to maintain the short and long-term financial health of the business. This includes and is not limited to financial planning and control, capital budgeting, treasury, statutory compliances including holding of board meetings and AGM, working capital management, financial reporting and analysis.

What you will be doing

Some of the key responsibilities for the role will include the following:

Direct financial function to ensure the function meet the organization’s business objectives and the functioning is conducted in accordance with regulations and accounting principles.
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop and implement a financial strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
Preparation of the organization’s financial reports, such as profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, management financial reports, and regulatory reports and filings.
Evaluate acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, sale of assets (as required) to ensure they are financially viable.
Manage feasibility and expansion projects, analysis of potential investment opportunities.
Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a high performing team to ensure the organization's financial strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines.
Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses and make appropriate recommendations.
Analyze the financial details of past, present and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
Prepare, review and present standalone performance review presentations & budgets to Board of Directors & management.
Manage and coordinate for statuary audits to ensure proper controls and timely closure of financial statements.
Manage and reduce working capital days.
Ensure enough cash generation for new funding’s, CAPEX, OPEX and operations.
Supervise and manage accounts, finance, costing and budget departments.
Co-ordination with finance & accounts team of local and overseas subsidiaries

Our ideal match

Experience with a manufacturing company with at least 1000 SKU’s of production
Charted Accountant or Certified Public Accountant
Master’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in a business or finance environment, Management experience in a mid-size organization is a plus
