Financial Accountant Required in Dubai

We are seeking for an accountant to join our growing team.

We anticipate you being adaptable in your role and having strong reading and presentation skills.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:

Inventory management.
Daily Petty cash.
WPS.
Monthly sales report.
Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end reporting
Manage account inquiries and disputes
Monitor client money balances
Inter-company balance reconciliations
Assisting with filing VAT returns
Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.

Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
Maintain accurate financial statements by ensuring that balance sheet accounts reflect valid transactions and that P&L accounts are accurate and complete
Contribute to process improvements, efficiency opportunities, and policy updates

Skills And Qualifications

You will hold at least Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Relevant degree in Finance and/ or studying towards an Accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc.
At least 2 to 3 years experience in a similar position in event or retail sector
You will bring a minimum of 10 years experience in finance and accounting ideally with tax, transfer pricing and VAT.
Possess strong accounting skills and deep experience of IFRS;
Strong IT skills specifically in Excel, and ZOHO finance or other advanced ERP
Experience working in UAE
Have drive for self-development and growth
Effective communication and communication skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Demonstrates the highest standards of ethical behavior and absolute discretion with sensitive information
