Finance Manager with a background of Advertising and Marketing Agency - Dubai
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Works with the agency leadership to facilitate and manage all financial activities of the organization. The Finance Manager is a key player on the agency’s operations team. This role is responsible for helping the agency forecast and track current projects as well as future business growth. The Finance Manager is an integral part of maintaining internal operational control of resources, budgets and profitability and works to promote best practices for the client facing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages staff payroll and all AP and AR to ensure the company responsibility; includes media billing and monthly accruals
• Works with account groups to develop budgets, staffing plans and manage overall costs associated with client specific activity
• Proactively pursues new ways to enhance overall agency profitability
• Prepares reports for the Management which summarizes and forecasts company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and expected operations
• Collaborates with account department to create/revise client contracts
• Serves as key point of contact for operational needs and contracts for including agency insurance, employee benefits , legal, IT and external vendors
• Serves as the keeper for all agency official documentation including employee HR files, client contracts, vendor contracts, NDAs
• Acts as the key liaison with external HR consultant and legal
• Ensure employee files are up to date and compliant with HR department
• Coordinate monthly hours report management, application and Client billings with Account Management team
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5-10 years of experience, preferably within an advertising agency setting
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a bonus
Familiarity with Quick books and ERP
Must have strong sense of urgency and strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong problem solving skills, and detail-oriented
Must be extremely organized
