Position Overview: As an American English tutor with our family, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our toddler's language skills and cultural understanding. You will conduct engaging face to face lessons designed to improve language proficiency, vocabulary, conversational abilities, and cultural context. We are open to considering candidates from diverse backgrounds beyond traditional educators, as long as they have a strong command of American English and can effectively engage and educate our child.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to the toddler's age, interests, and learning needs.
Foster an immersive English-speaking environment within the home.
Facilitate interactive activities that promote language development and cultural understanding.
Integrate technology, resources, and creative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to both the toddler and parents.
Encourage a love for language and learning through positive reinforcement and innovative approaches.

Requirements:

Native or near-native proficiency in American English.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on the toddler's progress and preferences.
Patience and enthusiasm for working with toddlers.
UAE resident
Previous teaching experience or relevant background (educators, language enthusiasts, professionals with a strong English background, etc.).
Bachelor's degree
