Driver Required in Dubai

Primary purpose of the role

Driver needed to operate vehicle and pick / drop passenger(s) or deliver item(s) / documents as instructed. Incumbent to have safe driving record, follow local driving rules and regulations, follow prearranged routes to destination, or use maps and GPS to navigate route. Should be available to join immediately.

Key Accountability Areas

Pick / drop passenger(s) or deliver item(s) / documents as instructed.

Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Maintaining vehicle equipment; ensure replacing of oil, filling gas tank, general motor vehicle maintenance as needed on timely basis.

Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained.

Maintains communication with Line Manager to be informed of any change of delivery, route or schedule.

Perform all activities in compliance with the local laws and regulations.

Handle the retrieval of documents as directed by the Line Manager.

Any other ad hoc duty assigned by the Line Manager.

Education & Qualifications

High School / Diploma in any vocational course or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience

5 years of experience as a proven driver in UAE (no negative records as driver)

Knowledge & Skills

Good driving record with a valid driving license

Is very knowledgeable about UAE roads / traffic laws and possesses safe driving habits

Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage situations promptly and professionally, meeting commitments for service and assistance.

Able to maintain effective communication at all times.

Contributes to building a positive team spirit and puts success of team above own interests

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

Polite, soft spoken, proactive and smart.

Must be able to read, write and speak English. Knowledge of Arabic and Hindi will be an added advantage.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.

Effectively present information and respond to questions.
