Goals and Objectives
The professional driver is responsible for a range of transportation services required to support Discovery Dune’s business and its operations. This includes the transport of corporate and local leadership, and prospective and active club members; as well as all transport activities required for office administration support.
Responsibilities
Comply with all the traffic/ road laws and transportation policy of the business.
Comply with all transportation SOP's.
Drive in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.
Ensure the security of passenger belonging while travelling.
Maintain a record of all incidents, accidents or tickets.
Maintain good coordination with the representatives from each passenger destination.
Sustain positive conversation with passengers.
Collect, transport, and deliver passenger luggage as and when required.
Maintain proper records of the trip start and finish in kilometres, as well as usage times.
Follow the standard reporting time schedule at all times.
Adjust routing based on heavy traffic conditions by applying in-depth knowledge of area.
Report passenger complaints, problems or incidents to management.
Park vehicle in designated parking areas, per parking policy.
Ensure assigned vehicle is clean, mechanically sound, presentable and fully stocked with amenities.
Always maintain positive customer relations at all times.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the club’s services, as well as places of interest in the surrounding area.
Ensure effective handover from the earlier shift and sign on the log book.
Maintain high personal hygiene and adhere to uniform policy.
Practices accident prevention measures.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Undertaking assigned administrative errands for office.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
High school or similar educational qualification.
Valid CAT 3 Drivers License.
Work Experience
4 year old license required.
Age minimum 25 years old.
Excellent hygiene.
Non-smoker (preferably)
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good understanding of Dubai roads and locations.
Clean driving history.
