Driver Required in Dubai - Dubai
Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections on all assigned vehicles at the beginning of each shift.
Ensure all vehicles are properly cleaned and maintained, reporting any repair needs.
Obtain orders for transporting people or items to different locations, ensuring proper execution.
Assist passengers in embarking and disembarking, ensuring safety and well-being.
Receive and safely transport items and documents to their destinations.
Use standard maps or GPS to find safe routes, adhering to timelines.
Safely drive assigned office vehicles following set rules and regulations.
Transport people to their destinations, handle office pick-up duties and deliver parcels and documents.
Maintain contact with the dispatch team to provide updates on delivery or transport situations.
Perform preventative and regular maintenance on assigned vehicles, ensuring proper detailing.
Drive company vehicles to job sites, clean them before and after use, and report any damage, accidents, or traffic violations.
Deliver materials, equipment, and personnel to job sites.
Carry out banking, financial, and other outdoor messenger duties.
Pack materials received for dispatch, affix labels, insert material in envelopes, and frank outgoing mail.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
Maintain detailed records of fuel usage, mileage, and servicing.
Keep records of all vehicle maintenance logs.
Collect payments, document amounts, and offer receipts when necessary.
Securely deliver packages, documents, and other items to the intended location or recipient promptly.
Plan the most efficient and expedient delivery route from place to place.
Obtain required signatures and/or payments at the time of delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a company driver or a similar role
Familiarity with local and regional routes
Ability to follow set rules and regulations
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
Ability to handle banking and financial transactions
Familiarity with GPS devices and mapping applications
