Director of Cybersecurity Required in Dubai
Our client is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity leader to develop a sophisticated cyber security program and act as the key line of defence for the organization against current and future threats and risks.

Responsibilities:
Create and refine the holistic cybersecurity strategy to govern and protect all aspects of the organization.
Work with the leadership team to align on business objectives.
Ensure the cybersecurity team is enabled and empowered with resources and skills to deliver the level of cyber defence required.
Own the budget for cybersecurity solutions and team.
Assume the role of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead trainings and awareness campaigns within the organization.
Act as the incident response champion and ensure top notch threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment and security operations capabilities.
Monitor changes in threat landscape, keep up to date with emerging risks.
Contribute to the design and implementation of the IT security architecture and promote enhancement of capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Technology
Relevant certifications in the work area e.g., CISO, SANS, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC etc.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in a similar role
Deep and robust knowledge of cyber threat landscape, local knowledge and international cybersecurity frameworks
In-depth knowledge of standards like ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and NIST
Knowledge of Cloud security or equivalent certification; experience with public cloud environments
Strong expertise in application security, VAPT, SIEM, firewalls, antivirus etc.
Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal including presentation skills.
Leadership abilities and people management skills
Ability to conduct technical activities independently and hands on
Risk Assessment, Management and Audit proficiency
