Diploma Electrical & Electronic Engineering - Fire fighting Draftsman - 2.10 years experience - Dubai

• Knowledge and understanding of contract drawing and specification.
• Fully conversant with all aspects of construction and installation works.
• Effective organization, deployment and control of the site labour/supervision.
• Reporting of time keeping and absenteeism.
• Advice on operative assessment and development.
• Labour attendance and allocation.
• Construction productivity target/records.
• To ensure that the standard of the installed works is in accordance with the technical and quality specification of the contract and quality of workmanship is maintained to the highest standards.
• To ensure the project health & safety standards are maintained during the construction of the works.
• Ensure that contract drawing are constantly marked-up, to enable timely for issuance of the record drawing.
• Monitoring of minimum material stock levels to ensure materials at site are sufficient to achieve the planned construction programme and liaison with the stores.
• Maintenance of all necessary site/project/work related record.
• Inspection of completed sections of work prior to initiating an inspection request to the client/engineer.
• Able to material take-off for Fire Fighting works
• Able to schedule works on site and manage site independently.
• Co-ordinate with client, consultancy and other agencies on site.
• Follow schedules and plan and organize site works
• Prepare to material or equipment delivered to site, for inspection by the client/engineer.
• Prepare and complete
• Fire safety design drafting of automatic sprinkler, fire water reticulation, gas suppression and fire detection systems using AutoCAD.
• Responsibilities include designing the above-mentioned systems in accordance with regulated norms for construction projects.
• Creating Fire Fighting Shop drawings & Taking Approval with consultants.
• Reviewing Design Drawings & Calculations as per Specs & Standards.
• Preparing various Periodical Reports regarding Design/Shop Drawings approval Status.
• Creating Fire Fighting Design Drawings as per STANDARDS.
• Preparing Bill of Quantities & assist the development of Cost Estimation for Fire Fighting Systems.
• Preparing Preliminary & Detailed Design for Fire Fighting System.
• Coordinating with Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC drawings for the Fire Fighting system.
