Applications are invited for the position of Digital Designer (Corporate Communications)
Position within: Human Resources
Reports to: Corporate Communications Manager
Location : Dubai International Airport Terminal 1
Support communication to our colleagues and external parties through execution of the corporate communication strategy and the development of high impact messages for a variety of purposes including in-house graphic designing, filming, photography and copywriting. Support EKFC Commercial business units (Customer Development, Foodcraft, Events, Food Service) as well as current and future JVs (Bustanica, and Kosher Arabia) to achieve their business objectives through strategic communication initiatives – including but not limited to brand development, communications management support, photography, videography digital design requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Produce and execute internal and external communication based collaterals ranging from filming, photography and copy writing in relation to websites/portals, PR, branding activities, events, and sponsorships across EKFC with the aim of continuously improving the corporate brand image whilst optimizing costs.
The job holder will also support in creating a presence and impact for EKFC in the Corporate Social Responsibility area that will enhance EKFC’S image as a socially committed employer.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on design solutions and create digital content & assets for a wide range of platforms – including but not limited to EKFCHub, websites, digital screens, social media platforms, email campaigns, digital catalogues, printed collaterals and support with eCommerce. The job holder is also expected to continuously improve performance of all digital assets - based on consumer and industry trends.
The digital designer job involves working with cross-functional teams to take ideas from concept to execution – including creating, managing, and producing digital content and design solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, photography and videography. In addition the role involves working with business managers, content experts and web developers to deliver on stakeholder requirements and producing an effective and engaging customer/audience experience.
Essential Requirements and Competencies
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (must have)
A good understanding of visual design principles.
Proven digital content skills.
Work Experience:
· 5 years’ experience in a similar role with strong creative, design and execution skills.
Skills:
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Expertise with standard digital design tools, including Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, InVision, InDesign.
Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices.
Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences across different digital platforms.
Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
Experience of content ideation and management
Experience of copy writing and editing
Excellent communication in English (spoken & written)
Deadline driven with efficient time management capabilities
Ability to multi-task
