We have over 25 years' experience within the cosmetic industry, working alongside world renowned plastic surgeons and doctors. We offer various services from hair transplants, cosmetic procedures as well as a number of Dermalogica service.
Now we are expanding our diverse team of professionals and are looking for an experienced Dermatologist nurse to join our team.
Job role:
We are looking for an experienced Registered Dermatologist Nurse who ideally has prior experience working in a medical centre or environment. In this role you'll be responsible for assisting and supporting the beautician during consultations, preparing the treatment rooms by setting up the equipment and products, recording and updating patients records as well carrying out post operative care to patients following their procedure.
The ideal Registered Dermatologist Nurse must have experience working as a dermatology assistant or with plastic surgeon assistant or have worked in a similar environment.
Job responsibilities:
Perform initial physical evaluation on patients and document symptoms and vital signs
Support and assist the beautician during the consultation
Assist the beautician by preparing the rooms for treatments.
Assisting the beautician by recording patients' information' including skin examination and patient's medical history
Monitor patient's during the consultation and update patient medical record
Carry out pre-operative care for patients undergoing a treatment
Assist the beautician by performing cosmetic dermatology procedures
Carry out venipuncture on patients
Assist the physician during the consultation by preparing specialized medical equipment and products.
Provide the patients with post-operative care
Qualifications:
Completed a bachelor's degree or Nursing diploma.
Must have two years' experience working in a similar role - ideally in dermatology or as a plastic surgeon's assistant
Must have a DHA license or DHA Eligibility letter
Is confident with conducting venipuncture on patients.
