Job Description:
To create visual text and imagery concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports, etc. To design (or create) graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc.
Responsibilities:
Closely collaborate with the team working on, contributing creative ideas for visual presentation of the concept brief provided.
Work independently in actualizing a number of designs and submit them for approval.
Carry sales or marketing concepts across multiple pieces as part of a complete campaign.
Produce a defined number of social media posts, GIFs, Ads, etc, based on the initial brief
Produce layouts of all digital media, including but not limited to: social media, mobile, and all other digital platforms
Design internal document and email templates
Be a leader and provide design guidance to peers and developing designers.
Stay up to date with the latest trends to keep the company at the forefront of design.
Requirements:
Proven working design experience for a minimum of 2-3 years and a solid portfolio.
Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Work well in a fast-paced, demanding environment with minimal supervision.
Be highly organized and adhere to deadlines.
Design Guidelines:
Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetics.
Take full accountability in adhering to artwork specifications as per suppliers’ guidelines.
Supervise all advertising and digital campaigns, and news related to competitors to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly.
Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Skills Required:
Computer fluency in Mac and PC.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
Typography knowledge.
Multimedia content development.
Media production, communication, and dissemination techniques.
Understanding browser capabilities.
