Corrosion Engineer - Dubai
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Chemical, Materials Engineering or other related field required. MSc degree on Corrosion Engineering is an advantage. Experience in materials and concrete testing field will be an added advantage. Carry out cathodic protection design using various analysis software packages and keep up to date with the latest software and relevant standards ISO, NACE, etc. Prepare technical report on corrosion issues to submit to client and meet with the client to discuss and revise and reissue as necessary. Prepare standard templates for corrosion survey assessment work for use by surveyors and design formats xls and others for corrosion analysis. Review all relevant tech. info. from the client for the survey and study and use in analysis and assessment. Liaise with specialist contractors to obtain preliminary technical proposals related to repair works. Liaise with construction chemical suppliers to obtain technical proposals recommendations and materials for remedial works. Provide technical design input at the proposal stage of a submission.
