Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist - Abu Dhabi

An upcoming eye care center in Abu Dhabi is on the lookout for a Consultant/Specialist Ophthalmologist to join our growing team.

Education Experience Required: MS, MD, DNB, Arab Board

License: Valid HAAD license ( Mandatory, Applicants who donot possess HAAD license will not be considered)

Job Description:
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to determine the nature & extent of ocular disorders.
• Diagnose or treat injuries, disorders, or diseases of the eye and eye structures including the cornea, sclera, conjunctiva, or eyelids.
• Document or evaluate patients' medical histories.
• Perform, order, or interpret the results of diagnostic or clinical tests.
• Develop treatment plans based on patient evaluation.
• Prescribe or administer medications to treat ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform laser surgeries to alter, remove, reshape, or replace ocular tissue.
• Educate patients on eye care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Refer patients for more specialized treatments if required.
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as glasses and contact lenses.
