VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Computer Support Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
A university degree in computing science/engineering or related experience.
MCSA: Windows 7 or MCSA: Windows 8.
MCSA: Windows Server 2012 or MCSA: Windows Server 2008.
MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure.
At least 2 years of experience in IT Support.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Proven troubleshooting skills with hardware and software technologies.
Candidates have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Must work on own initiative.
Input into the evaluation of new products.
Strong organizational and time management skill
Experience/Knowledge
Ability to provide technical support over the phone; good phone skills, professional manner.
Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, be able to multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
Ability to self-manage the time, prioritize and complete projects promptly
Working knowledge of common operating systems and software applications.
Work with Microsoft applications.
Experience in installing and configuring hardware and software.
Experience with Windows Servers.
Experience with server maintenance, and systems and network administration.
Experience with office portals and ERP, IP Telephony solutions is a plus.
Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
Demonstrates outstanding oral and written communication skills in English.
Shares knowledge and experience. Strong analytical skills.
Actively works towards developing and expanding personal knowledge and capabilities
Respond to client requests in a prompt and cheerful manner.
Respond to systems incidents and function under pressure.
Responsibilities
To work as on-site Desktop Support Engineer in one of the ministry sites.
Login to the helpdesk system daily to get the job order.
Response to the incidents registered and tries to solve it and close it in the helpdesk system within the specified service period.
Supervise the movement of IT equipment based on the helpdesk.
Provide professional supports for customers and computer users within an organization to ensure that all computers, software and peripherals are functioning properly.
Providing end users assistance with technical issues over the phone and in person.
Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware to resolve problems.
Configure the profile for the new users' accounts in the Ministry Applications and reset password.
Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software.
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service and coordinate with helpdesk (Computer Specialist).
Supervise and coordinate with vendors worker engaged in problem-solving.
Any Related tasked asked by supervisor
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
