Apt Resources is a leading hospitality provider seeking a friendly and experienced Commis 1 - Bakery - Pastry to join the dynamic team of one their clients in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pastries, bread, and desserts in their bakery. The ideal candidate should have exceptional culinary skills, a passion for baking, and a natural flair for creativity. Our client prioritizes positivity and teamwork, making it the perfect place for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare baked goods such as cakes, cookies, and croissants
Mix and prepare dough for bread and other baked goods
Decorate and present pastries and other dessert items
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Assist with menu planning and development
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen
Collaborate with other team members in creating new and innovative desserts

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Certification/Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts or related field
Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Creativity and passion for baking and pastry
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Willing to work in a restaurant kitchen and able to switch between bakery products and pastry
