Minimum experience
· 8 - 10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management and support
· 5 years’ experience in large-scale, enterprise-class cloud planning, design, implementation and support
Desired Qualifications/education
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline.
Azure certification and other associated technical/professional certifications
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for deploying overseeing cloud computing strategy
· Architects, designs, facilitates, leads and directs cloud initiatives
· Extensive experience in office 365 and Wintel (specially Active Directory)
· Responsible for setting up all the components required for successful cloud computing
· Cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring
· Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments
· Ensure all Cloud solutions abide by regulatory, compliance and security policies
· Uses best practices for cloud system design, infrastructure integrations, application development practices and application principles
· Provision of repetitive cloud services either through internal tools/processes or by leveraging external provider's tools/processes while maintaining organizational control over those applications in the cloud environment.
· Designs a comprehensive set of enterprise management processes, tools, integrations and procedures to ensure running cloud systems are managed and controlled effectively
· Identifies any risks posed by cloud computing services and build risk-mitigation-mapping matrix for coping with and overcoming such risks
· Involved with application life cycle management initiatives within the business — refactoring or replacing legacy applications with cloud applications
· Monitor industry trends to ensure that solutions are in line with industry best practices
· Creation and delivery of a modern governance framework for cloud usage.
