Science Xplorers is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic (GCSE/A level /IBDP) Senior Chemistry Teacher to join our faculty on a part-time or full-time basis. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the fascinating fields of chemistry. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about science, dedicated to student success, and capable of delivering engaging and effective instruction.
Salary: 4000 - 6500 AED
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards in chemistry.
Teach students key concepts, theories, principles, and applications in chemistry.
Create a dynamic and interactive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, critical thinking, and hands-on learning experiences.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to cater to diverse learning styles and enhance student understanding.
Facilitate laboratory experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific principles and promote scientific inquiry.
Assess and evaluate student performance, provide timely and constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to design and administer assessments, analyze student data, and modify instructional approaches as needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom climate that respects diversity, encourages student participation, and supports student well-being.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, achievements, and concerns.
Stay updated on advancements and developments in the fields of chemistry, and integrate relevant and current content into lessons.
Maintain a safe and organized practical environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, & A master's degree is preferred.
Valid teaching certification/license Chemistry.
Proven experience teaching Chemistry at all levels (GCSE/A level /IBDP).
In-depth knowledge of Chemistry concepts, theories, and applications.
Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Proficiency in using technology and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and success.
Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver effective lessons and assessments.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of students and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying updated on current scientific research and pedagogical practices.
