Chairman, Department of Clinical Sciences - Dubai
Ensures the implementation of the educational program as per the college of medicine curriculum for students in their clinical years. Assigns teaching responsibilities for all faculties in the Department to deliver a professional undergraduate clinical training according to the rules and regulations of the University. Contributes to the teaching load of the Department in his/her relevant specialty. Recommends academic appointment and recruitment of new faculty in the Department Provides opportunity to all faculty for professional advancement and assisting each member of the faculty in achieving his or her own optimal development in teaching, scholarly activity, and research. Conducts annual evaluations of departments faculty and staff as required by the university, and making the necessary recommendations to the Dean. Reviews the departmental applicants for promotion and formulates recommendations for the Academic Promotion Committee in the university. Manages the departmental budget as directed by the Dean in accordance with university rules and regulations.
