The Business Development Partner is a vital role for the business, and, as Business Development Partner, you will be part of Equiom’s Business Development Team and to add value to the Equiom Group by ensuring business growth is in line with organisational strategy in the UAE and that the targets and the regulatory needs of the company are met. A key requirement for this role is to have financial services or corporate service experience
Your New Job
Working in this Business Development role, the responsibilities of the role will grow and adapt to changing needs and demands, however below are the core duties of the role, which is not exhaustive;
Develop and maintain relationships with introducers and Clients for the provision of Governance, risk and compliance functions, company secretarial, PRO and company restructuring services.
Develop and implement business development strategies of the company covering the UAE markets
Develop and maintain relationships with law firms, corporate finance and investment banking professionals in relation to pre-IPO client work
Keep him/herself abreast of private client legislative changes in relation to regulation and taxation
Prepare, monitor business plans and advise MD as appropriate
Ensure overall business objectives and budgets are achieved
Promoting the services to professional intermediaries such as lawyers, advisers and the DIFC.
Communicating and presenting cross-border companies and solutions for clients are referrals.
Update Managing Director on business development and client prospecting
Act as Relationship Overseer on problem cases to a small number of major/complex clients.
Maintain excellent relationships and profile with all stakeholders including regulators, bankers, key intermediaries and maintain and enhance Equiom’s status as a reputable business and good member of the local community.
Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures

A relevant professional qualification
Proven experience in generating new business or have a good client following
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential to liaise with clients
Extensive working knowledge of Financial Services and Corporate Services
Excellent business acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate
In addition, you will need to demonstrate
Highly confident with the ability to assume full ownership and accountability
Results focused with a clear understanding of key financial metrics and value drivers
A motivated professional individual with a strong desire to deliver quality service
Assertive, approachable individual who can work under pressure adhering to deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
