Bookkkeeper Required in Dubai

My name is Eugenia and I am the co-founder of the Family office Business Boutique (UAE-Consulting.com) in Dubai. We make the Emirates a home for life and business for investors and entrepreneurs from all over the world, helping them not only to establish legal entities in the UAE, to accompany them, but also to assist in solving a wide range of personal issues.

Now we are actively looking for a Bookkeeper in Dubai.

List of responsibilities:

1. Perform bookkeeping duties for the Company’s Clients with portfolio of small to large businesses with accuracy under possible tight deadlines (A/P, A/R, bank transactions, payroll entries, month end journals).

2. Prepare monthly management accounts and year end accounts based on agreed-upon requirement of the Clients.

3. Act as client liaison and communicate directly with clients as part of bookkeeping and accounts preparation process.

4. Prepare financial report such as balance sheet and statement of comprehensive income. Also prepares client chart of accounts and GL set-up.

5. Prepare VAT returns (including general ledger analysis and tax closing).

6. Build and maintain client relationships focused on excellent customer service.

6. Ensures financial data is entered correctly and accurately.

7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

8. Assist with the bookkeeping of the related party companies.

9. Help clients with choosing and configuring of the accounting software. Entering of all underlying transactions in the relevant software.

10. Communication with audit firms on clients’ behalf as part of supervising 3rd parties providing auditing services to the client

11. Assist the clients with their requests related to VAT Registration and Economic Substance Regulations notification and reporting.

Qualifications and skills needed for this position:

• Graduate of BS in Accountancy

• CPA or CMA certification is preferred

• Knowledgeable in using various accounting softwares (ie. Zoho books, Quickbooks, Xero)

• 2-3 years experience in working in accounting firm or in a similar role

Work experience in a law firm or business consulting company is not necessary, but it will be a great bonus.
