Assistant Restaurant Manager Required in Dubai
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at our French Brasserie in Dubai. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, be highly organized, and possess a passion for the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff management, and customer service
· Train and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
· Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
· Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies
· Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
· Assist in creating and implementing marketing and promotional strategies
· Assist in managing restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and payroll
· Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Requirements:
· Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of restaurant operations and management practices
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
· Fluent in English; French language proficiency is a plus
· Already living in Dubai; work experience in Dubai is preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
