As an Assistant Manager HR Services you will be responsible for the following key areas by taking ownership to ensure a high quality of service provided to our Team Members.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards
As an Assistant Manager HR Services, you are responsible for overseeing all housing operations to deliver an excellent Team Member experience. An Assistant Manager HR Services will also be required to evaluate Team Member satisfaction and set department targets and objectives.
Oversee housing operations
Ensure the smooth running of housing facilities, including the safety and well-being of Team Members
Evaluate Team Member satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement
Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules
Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
Ensure planning, coordinating and executing employee activities and events, including special food days in Team Member Restaurants, annual Team Member party, participate and drive Blue Energy related activities
Attending all the department communication meetings to represent Human Resources department for Team Members' feedback. Maintain a tracker to update and resolve the feedback
Be a role model for THRIVE@Hilton
Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers
Ensures onboarding and departure of team members in collaboration with HR
Ensure ongoing training
Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
Ensure proper inventory, order food and supplies for Team Member Restaurant and check the quality and quantity of orders received
Coordinate with the Engineering and Security department related to technical and safety aspects of the team housing

HR experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity
A successful track record of managing a large team
A high school certificate or equivalent
High level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
Ability to work under pressure
IT proficiency
Excellent grooming standards
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Proficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, budget management, and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
