Domain Experience

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking business applications administration / testing / support.

2. Overall minimum 6 years of IT support experience in an organization with more than 500 employees.

3. Experience in turnkey projects within banking industry

Banking applications

1. Finacle core banking

2. Finacle Treasury

3. Smartstream reconciliation

4. SWIFT

Technical Experience

1. Experience in the administration of banking business applications.

2. Excellent banking business process knowledge.

3. Experience and understanding of compliance requirements of bank’s IT department.

4. Excellent understanding of enterprise application architecture and service delivery models

5. Experience in supporting Core Banking and Banking Reconciliation. Experience in Finacle and Smartstream solutions preferred.

6. Exposure to Central bank payment and Swift applications would be considered as advantage.

7. Experience with DR activities of the banking applications.

8. The candidate must be aware of application security aspects and its impact. Should be experienced in user, role and process administration of applications.

9. Experience in handling the support cases in a high pressure SLA bound environment. ITIL process experience in an organization with more than 500 staff is preferred.

10. Experience with any helpdesk systems is required.

11. Should be able to understand the business language and processes while communicating with business / management staff. The candidate must be able to translate these business issues / processes to technical requirements.

12. Good troubleshooting skills and logical approach towards problem solving.

13. Should have understanding of technical architecture and be able to discuss with infrastructure and development teams in these matters.

14. Should have experience in various testing/UAT methods mainly from application / process point of view in a projectized environment.

15. The candidate must have good presentation skills and should be able to precisely summarize the application support statistics / prepare reports as required.

16. Candidates must be able to prepare the test cases based on the application, use cases and control perspective.

17. Good knowledge of PLSQL.

18. Need to have exposure and experience in Unix / AIX / Windows platforms.

2. Experience in working in high pressure and multi project environment.

3. Candidate should be willing to take additional responsibilities along with the middleware support.

4. Excellent command over English.

5. The candidate should be ready to work in 24 x 7 activities based on the situation.

Project Experience Should have been part of minimum of 2 business application implementation / upgrade projects.
